Menus & ParentPay

Menu

At Eden Girl’s School we have a full dinner service supplied by Mellors.  Mellors has worked closely with Star Academies to secure a HMC approved meat supplier, so you can be rest assured that all their meat is halal.

Please find here their latest menus for Week 1, Week 2 and Week 3.

Allergies

If your child has any form of allergy which affects what food Mellors can provide, then we need to know about it.  Please print and complete the form here and obtain the appropriate medical note from your GP.  Please send both into the school for the attention of the Schools Business Manager. We can then provide a balanced healthy meal taking into account your daughter’s allergies.

Parent Pay

Eden Girls’ School runs a cashless catering system which works alongside ParentPay.  Payments that you make into ParentPay will automatically be sent to the cashless till.  At the end of the meal service, details of meal transactions and balances will be sent back to ParentPay.   The system will mean that as a parent/carer, you will not only be able to view full payment histories and statements at any time, but also to view your daughter’s meal choices on a daily basis.

The system incorporates the latest technology and eliminates the need for pupils to carry cash.   Any amount of money can be paid into your ParentPay account, and as you are already aware, you can make online payments whenever you like at any time of the day or night. The technology used is of the highest internet security available, ensuring that your money will reach the school safely – offering you peace of mind.

All students and staff have been issued with their own, unique, personalised card and given training on how to use the system.  If students lose their card, a replacement card will cost £5.  There is a daily ‘spend limit’ programmed into the system of £5.00.  This can be increased or decreased for an individual student by making a written request to the school finance office.

The system has the added benefit of ensuring that students who receive free school meals cannot be identified by other students. Every day, students entitled to a free school meal will receive £2.55 on their card for use on that day.  At the end of each day, any remaining balance will be removed and replaced with a new £2.55 balance for the following day.  Parents can top up the balance.  Please rest assured, any remaining balance from parents will not be removed at the end of each day.

If you do not have access to the internet or have a bank accounts or any type of credit or debit card then you can request a PayPoint letter from the school, this gives you the ability to top up with cash through any PayPoint outlet.

Should you have any questions, please contact the school or visit the ParentPay Information page.
